Representatives in the School Council

The School Council (Faculty Council according to Art. 41 BayHIG) is the highest body of the School under the chairmanship of the Dean.

It advises and decides on general teaching matters (changes to the FPSO, etc.), habitations, granting of teaching authorization, appointment of professors and other fundamental matters.

For applications to the Examination Board for Computer Science, the secretaries of the individual courses of study (‘Schriftführer:innen’) are the correct contacts

Nils Harmsen

Representatives in the Examination Board

The examination board discusses changes to the elective module catalogue. This means specifically the creation/discontinuation of modules, the recognition of modules from other schools or similar.

The examination board also deals with examination matters, but this is the second part, where we are not present for legal reasons.

Tuition Substitution Funds are state funds dedicated to improving study conditions. They are the replacement for tuition, which was eliminated in 2013. They are used to improve teaching, enhance student services and upgrade infrastructure.

Student representatives in the study committee

We work in the Study Committee to improve the study conditions. For example, we read through new modules and give feedback on them before they come to the School Council. In general, the Study Commission works ahead of the School Council, allowing it to work more efficiently.
